It's my first post and I finally got in the mail today the Interface Unit Cd-Rom!! I have a few questions before I pop in any games. Now I've been reading up on this forum about the Horrors of cdr's in the systems. I was wondering since I have a pretty large library of games that I play through the magic engine - - I am wondering if it will break the system? Has anybody run into problems with their IFU-30 playing burnt games?
Also I was wondering if Pc engine arcade duo cards work the same on the IFU system as the arcade pro?
thank you !! :D

Obviously you need an AC Pro to play at ACD games on an Interface Unit. The AC Duo, as the name suggests, is for Super CD-ROM based systems.
As for CDR copies, it depends a lot on the quality of your discs and your rips. The IFU laser head is not as precise as modern drives, and will be less forgiving to average rips.
