-
for the record, i think every genny fan should have these:
 Mega Man: Wily Wars
 Battle Mania 2
 Pulseman
 King Collosus
 Monster World IV
 Brave Battle Saga

seriously, KC was one of the few games i got sucked into enough to beat last year.

I'm assuming that most of those have English translations or in the case of DarXide (and maybe Alien Soldier), an NTSC patch/hack. So most are forms of games that have never been available at retail or cannot be played in any other form.
-
Most of the games are patched and/or translated for NTSC-U or unreleased games like
ResQ, StarFox2 and Super Shadow of the Beast.

Yeah I see that point, therefore the reference to "unreleased games in the western fields".
And still they can be played in another form.

What I mean is, the exact same roms in these carts, English/NTSC/misc, cannot be played in any way that is not technically "piracy". I'm not saying it is good or bad, but most of those carts don't contain an unaltered commercially released rom. Unlike the Sapphire bootlegs which are so popular around here.
