Ha! Yeah, probably not the best screenshot to lead with.
Pretty good Nintendo Direct today. Lots of fan service. I'm looking forward to getting Earthbound on VC, finally. I've got the original copy for SNES, but it'll be nice to have it on a console that's hooked up all the time. Love that game.

Hmm... I started playing LTTP the other day. It's not a bad game by any means, but I honestly don't see what the big deal is. So far, I think it's better than Ocarina Of Time, but not as good as Adventure Of Link (my personal favorite in the series). I'll be interested in playing the sequel, though.

LTTP is their most well put together Zelda game in terms of pacing, challenge, crap to do, and overall feel.

I don't agree with this. Link's Awakening was so much more fleshed out. Using low res b/w graphics freed up their minds to make the overall game better, IMO. Its basically a refined LttP.

Maybe it was fine for people back in the day, but I always found it to be meandering and brown and soul crushingly dull. It hasn't aged well AT ALL though, that much is obvious. Looks like a f*cking Quake mod.

I don't agree with this. Link's Awakening was so much more fleshed out. Using low res b/w graphics freed up their minds to make the overall game better, IMO. Its basically a refined LttP.
I love them both, but yeah...Link's Awakening was fantastic.

My problem with Links Awakening (My second favorite game. 3rd is Adventure of Link), is that some of the dungeons were a bit long winded and boring. The overall story is pretty awesome though.
I was also a huge fan of the Dark World concept of LttP.
Both Links Awakening and Lttp are basically the last time I gave a shit about Zelda.
Those Oracle games were alright, but nothing exceptional.

There are some sweet games coming for the 3DS, "Attack of the Friday Monsters- A tokyo tale" intrigues me the most.

Yeah, I don't know. It looks terrible here, but a lot of Nintendo's cheesy gimmicks are pretty f*cking great. Kirby's Epic Yarn, glasses-free 3D, Wario Ware Twisted, Wii Bowling...
