Doing a lil research and I am looking for what you guys think are wacky, cute, odd and visually vibrant (colorful) games for any retro system.

Marchen Maze

I was going to mention Gekisha boy but Punkic got to it first.

Hanatakadaka! for sure though. That game is so underrated.

PCE: Gulliver Boy is pretty awesome for the colorful visuals. While I cannot always figure out what is going on story-wise, I know that any time I flip that power switch over with that disk in, my eyes are in for a treat!

Neo: Alpha Denshi's Blue's Journey and Visco's Neo Mr. Do! are two of my fave titles that meet the above requirements...both have crazy colors and visuals, and Mr. Do! wackiness never really gets old in my opinion :)

McDonald's Treasure Land Adventure for Genesis.  Seriously.  :D

I was wanting to stay away from 32-bit stuff cause I feel that's not retro, but then again some don't consider 16-bit retro.  So I'll drop Hermie Hopperhead and Vib Ribbon for PSX.
