Title: Japanese Magazines - what are your favorite

I'm a sucker for good design and layout in print, specially the JP magazine with their mixture of engrish, english and JP; old and new

Agreed - tons of cool Japanese magazines out there!

I have an issue of a magazine which seems promising:

Issue 5, 2007 of Animation Note

This issue focuses on anime backgrounds, and also features a (not overly elaborate) step-by-step look at the BG creation process. Still, quite interesting. There seems to be even more interesting issues out there (like this (http://cdn.halcyonrealms.com/animation/mecha-mania-part-i-animation-note-april-2008/), but this is the only one I have at the moment :mrgreen:

That's an awesome link. I have to be careful or I'll end up being a hoarder with all these :D

I recently found out that there is a "Gameside" series all about 2D action games. My brain just about melted. I so need to learn how to read this language!!!!

Gameside are the best ATM :)
