Title: WTB Double Dragon 2
Post by: whisper2053 on May 11, 2013, 11:46:47 AM
Hey guys, I'm looking for a copy w/ case/manual/disk in reasonable gamer condition. Not looking for a collectible here, but just something that I can play with that is reasonably complete :)
I checked on ebay already *shudders* and saw two copies in the $100-$250 range and that just seemed a mite ridiculous for what I was looking for so I figured I would ask around here and see what turned up.

I dunno about $250, but it sounds like double dragon sells for around $100 bucks. IMHO anyways.

Right here yo. http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/surugaya-a-too/item/178046-1/

The shipping may end up being around $15 but still cheaper than ebay.

That's not a bad price at all, in comparison. Thanks Keith!

Yeah, if you give it a go keep in mind that rakuten is slow and it will take at least a week before you get an email back from them with the exact total with shipping for you to confirm the order. Then they will ship it out.

I am good with that. After having poked around a bit there, it is like you have opened my eyes to some best kept OBEY secret or something. Jeez, I wish I had known about this place days ago! Ah well, live and learn lol. At least it is a resource in my bookmark folder now :)

Well the shipping from there can be pricey if you get anything besides games. So keep that in mind.

Yeah, I was looking at the by-weight shipping estimates, but the game prices are just nuts. I mean, it is like a whole separate market specifically designed for people who are gamers vs. the usual collector's market lol. I must say thank you for cluing me in to this resource :)

Yeah  Surugaya-a-too only ship EMS thats why its expensive but its fast as hell about 2-3 days to east coast and you have to sign all kinds of documents and print out your address and stuff when the mailman delivers it
Also you have a week after they send you your total to decide purchase or not You do have to pay with credit card up front but they don't charge till after you email them back agreeing to purchase keep in mind this may only be with  Surugaya-a-too seller not sure about others  they seem to have the majority of games  though
