Updated visuals, extra characters IIRC....plus one of the few games I kept mt Wii around for so it's barely needed these days LOL

I nearly got Persona 4 Golden, but I wasn't sure. I bought Virtue's Last reward instead.
I'll check out those suggestions, cheers ;)
*edit* Oh, Dragons Crown is the one with the Witch with the tits. Safe.

This one looks pretty cool; https://www.trophiesonpsn.com/forum/showthread.php?5301-What-is-Panoptican-(Update)*&p=64678#post64678
Wasn't on my watch list before, but it is now. Check out the last video in the thread. I have no idea how the gameplay is going to work, but it looks intriguing.

That's the one  You can safely say fan service for that character
Also dragon's crown will be on the PS3 as well it's set to release in august.

Get Lumines for the Vita if you haven't already.

Sorry for the post resurrection, but I didn't feel like starting a new thread...
I finally bit the bullet and bought a Vita the other day. I didn't bother getting any games with it as I have PS+ and decided to check out the freebies first. Well, with one exception: I downloaded TxK immediately. Being a big sucker for Tempest, I couldn't resist. And yeah, it's pretty great. Maybe the best version of Tempest I've played since the Jaguar.
As far as free stuff goes, I downloaded Uncharted, which - while fun - still seems a bit gimmicky. The touch-screen stuff is absolute nonsense. That aside, it's a decent portable version of Uncharted, which is cool. For as many problems as I have with those games, they still manage to entertain me. Must be the Indiana Jones factor.
I also downloaded Wipeout, which is...well...the same as every Wipeout game I've ever played. Which is a good thing, I suppose. It is pretty, though, so there's that.
And then there was Gravity Rush. I had no idea what to expect from this game, and wow...not impressed. I mean, it's unique, for sure. But after about 45 minutes, I removed it from my ridiculously overpriced memory card.
Oh, and I downloaded Spelunky because I already had it on PS3 and, unlike Nintendo, Sony doesn't bend you over for cross-buy downloads (usually).
Overall, I'm pretty impressed with it. Like the PSP, I'm still constantly afraid that I'm gonna break or scratch it, but unlike the PSP those f*ckers didn't include any sort of case. I've already mentioned the memory cards, but sweet shit...$80 for 32GB? WTF?
On my "to buy" list are Ys, Persona 4, Tearaway, Dragon's Crown, and maybe a few others. I like the indie library, though, so I'll most likely pick up Ollie Ollie and some others.

The memory cards are ridiculous. I've been on the fence about getting one, however there seem to be some good games for it, finally coming out and I've heard the PSN Indie scene is pretty solid.
How much did you pay for it?

I paid full price: $200. But I had a bunch of stuff to trade in that I'll never play again, so I managed to get it down to $140.
After re-reading it, I sounded kind of down on it in my post. I'm not at all. It is really, really sleek and the library is kind of immense, when you consider the PSone stuff and other downloadable titles. Plus, if you have a PS4, the remote play thing is bad ass. My PS4 is in the basement and I was upstairs playing Resogun in bed on the Vita with only very occasional lag.
Once I get past the ass-raping of the memory cards, I'm sure this is going to be one of my favorite systems.

Not liking Gravity Rush... I don't know what to say...
Dangan Ronpa just came out for the Vita. I was pretty sure that would stay in Japan forever.

Does it get better? Am I missing something? I admit I didn't play for too long, but I found the whole "jump from here to here to here" thing to not be that compelling.

No, if you didn't fall in love with it right away it won't do anything to change your mind during the rest of the game.
I hear TxK is very good from people that like Tempest. I'm not a huge fan of f*cking llamas, but we'll see.
