can anyone give me advice on how to use avenue 6 pads with turbografx. preferably in a multiplayer setup. i really want street fighter 2

The best way to do this might be to obtain a reverse duo tap. It's a Duo tap (receives PC Engine/Turbo Duo controllers) and outputs them to a TurboGrafx 16. The other possibility is to see about getting PC engine to TurboGrafx cables and plug those into a turbo tap.

You can also just order a couple of reverse cables from Terry and use a standard Turbo Tap with your AV Pads 6.
Good luck!

thanks guys
ive already got a turbo tap so extra cables would work
on the otherhand there is a supplier here in england that has new (old) reverse taps for £35/$55 but as i cant find any others for sale anywhere else i dont know if that is a good price or not
id probably prefer the reverse tap for neatness

They're not that easy to find these days. I think there's a guide on here for how to turn a turbo tap into a reverse turbo tap (and vice versa on a duo tap).

I have done the turbo tap/duo tap cable swap. You on one (can't remember which one) you have to physically break the wires out of the existing plug and connect in proper color sequence. From there you can solder and shield as needed. Simple, just tedious for a few minutes.
