Title: Anyone have optimal values for the CD pots on a turbo duo?
Post by: ConHuevos on June 23, 2013, 09:31:53 PM
I've read the sticky and those values don't seem to be correct as setting my pots to them, it won't read cds.  If someone could take a Ohm reader to their pots and label them and their correct resistance I'd greatly appreciate it.  Thanks.

Every Duo will have its own sweet spot depending on the current state of the CD mech.  You have to remember all the components in the Duo as well as the CD mechanism are wearing items.  As time progresses they degrade in values. At the same time each Laser assy wasnt perfectly the same as the other.  Thats the reason the pots were there to begin with, to fine tune each Duo to make all the pieces work together.

Ok, I'd still prefer to know the stock values for each pot for the duo's however if anyone could provide them.  Thanks.
