Hi all, Does anyone know where to get a DIN 8 that will fit in to the DUO-R without having to drill through the board? Just feels wrong to do that.
Incidentally when it comes to drilling a poor PCE Duo is there a preferred option. Drill through the main board or mount a socket on the case?

There are plenty of them from out there (ebay), I can sell you one cheaply, you just switch the front pins (only for stability, no electrical connection) from the one that is mounted there already and puts it on the new one, ready for RGB modification. got the cable connector too...

You don't need to drill anything, just cut off the tips of the extra three pins, swap out the ground prong on the bottom of the jack, solder it in and you're done.

There is one Din that fits better than others the holes match up with the original ones. Just look carefully at the photos and you'll see it
