Title: The Centre for Computing History in Cambridge
Post by: SmaMan on September 07, 2013, 05:55:57 PM
Anyone hear about/have been to this place? Seems pretty cool. It's a bit like those few Pinball/Arcade Hall of Fame museums we have in the states, except they really seem to excel in their home computing collections.

And judging by the pictures in this article, they've got at least a start on their Turbo collection, too!  :)

It just opened this July. They're starting small, but managed to get all this together in time... quite impressive.

Looks to be permanent. And it seems that the founder already had an impressive Speccy collection, so why not put it on display?

I'm sure they have some Obey too. If you look they have a couple TG-16s in the pictures. They both look to be running Blazing Lazers if I'm not mistaken. Maybe one of us should help donate?

Or like how a similar exhibit in the Football Hall of Fame ONLY has the Madden series in it.

...I mean c'mon! Not even Tecmo?
