Ok in 2009 2010 I backed up my entire library almost. I used bin cue, I think I used Nero 5.5
All my old copies work perfect.
I am stuck on a game now that I wasted 3 CDs. The first BinCUE with IMGburn dosnt even read the disc in Magic Engine. The 2nd two discs came out as Data disks.
the cue file looks good . Any help?

I use turborip and imgburn.

Clone CD

I use turborip and imgburn.
Best method by far
I mainly do this to get the audio tracks to listen to on my phone

For 1:1 rips Clone CD is good, or anything that can do bin/cue.

I tried everything you guys said . I am on Win7. I did my last backups on XP. Is that a difference?
Keep getting Data discs

I use CDRWIN.

First off does the game have more than one Data track? What dvd/cd burner are you using? What game? Have you burned anyother pc-engine games today and they ran fine? I have a Sony CD/DVD burn with Windows 7 64-bit. I use IMGBurn and Clone CD. Both work perfect. I test the images mounting them to a virtual CD drive. In magic engine it can have issues depending on how you load the game. The safest bet is to load the CD with the System Card instead of the Magic System.

Ok i will try. Yes only one data track,
one bin and one cue
-
I have had better luck with magic engine when using a physical CDR vs. loading an image. But that's just me.

No version of Daemon tools is working with WIN7

Alcohol 120% has a virtual cd/dvd drive when you install it. So does power iso. If this is a bin/cue you downloaded it could just be bad. Also there are no aspi drivers that i know of for windows 7. Is this a fairly new burner/reader you have for windows 7?

Id say its fairly new. Never tried to burn a Bin/Cue on it. ME plays all my backups perfect otherwise. Gonna try to mount the image and report back

Hmmm, are you using the cue file to burn it? Sounds like for whatever reason that the burning program you are using isn't recognizing the cue file and burning the disc incorrectly. Maybe give imgburn a try and only load the CUE file into the program. It should display the track list before it burns. This way you will know if the cue is loading up correctly.

Think its a bad BIN CUE wont know untilI mount the image
