Unless the game supports save on the DUO like Neutopia i think did they are all password. I use save states or FINAL LAP TWIN would be impossible giving out false passwords. My friend left his turbografx on for a week trying to beat that game back in the 90s. We played it together again in 2005, got to the last race, I was missing a part and I couldnt beat the last guy and my friend (who had  TG16 a decade before me) threw his arms up in the air and said "F*** THIS GAME, IMPOSSIBLE" lol i know he was just overreacting, im playing through it again slowly

NECROMANCER is being translated as we speak and I cant wait its a gorgeous game.

Sinibad I personally got halfway through the game, was even making a walkthrough  , but its so simple it needs to be in english to be enjoyed. Typical Dragon Quest clone with an Arabian Nights theme. You even get ALI BABA prince of thieves in your party

I HEARD Susano Densetsu is being translated since 2009, cant verify though.

Out of those, Susano and Necromancer outshine Sinibad just because Sinibad is your typical RPG

I haven't finished Benkei Gaden, but it's a great game with back-up saving and a killer soundtrack.

#-o it's what's on the inside that counts  8-[

I haven't played much of PCE RPGs due to the language barrier, but I really want to experience more of them. A lot of them look really great! So of course I am looking forward to the Necromancer translation... hopefully the encryption situation doesn't delay the project too much longer!
...not to mention the other fan-translations that have been worked on in the past/present/future

I will say that if you have zero interest in Sinbad/Arabian Nights, you can skip Sindibad.  It's only really interesting if you like that setting.

The title music is excellent though.

I wonder if one day we will have some more epic Turbo CD rpgs. Theres tons. Solid Force is a strategy RPG with not much text, even just a menu translation would warrant a play through for me. I like SRPGs

If I remember right, Sindibad took me about 15 hours to finish.

and there was alot of "what the f*ck does that say"  moments, followed by sitting and trying to translate.

Don't get your hopes up too high. The original translation crew ran into a few snags trying to dump the game's main text. I took a look at it and it's all compressed via huffman variant. That's not a huge problem in itself, but the indirection is more than one layer and isn't exactly simple. I think it might be beyond the current hacker's skill set, and it's too much of a pain in the ass for me to take on (i.e. it doesn't look like a fun project). Sinibad in the other hand would be much easier to hack/translate ( I looked into that game a long time ago).

wondering if all the above mentioned games have battery backup for saving?
i know sindibad, susan-o, benkei gaiden do have memory backup, at least thats what the manual says.

but what about necromancer?

Necromancer was a console launch title. Dont know.

Sinibad would be a fun short translation.
