Today I bring you another fine scan from my collection. This time it is Dengeki PC-Engine Tokubetsu-ban.
The magazine is only 20 pages, however this issue includes a review of the unreleased game Missile Fighter.
A big thank you to esteban for hosting the files.

¥9,800/~$92(06/1993 rates) for Street Fighter II'! Was that high price(for a huey) because of it's popularity or because it used a mapper?
-
that looks great super. thx for sharing and hosting (esty).
how can you make such clean scans if not taking each page appart?

HELL YES! Missile Fighter, I never knew about you!
So, was Missile Fighter a PC Engine CD game which was never released, or what is it?

It is easy when you have one of these:

Yes, very nice scan indeed. It's like it wasn't scanned at all, but rather based on pre-press artwork...

Do any of the gurus (Covell!) have more info/scans about MISSILE FIGHTER?

And why isn't anyone interested in this? Sure, it doesn't look like a great game (artwork is unimpressive), but it had potential to be a lot of fun (granted, finding the ideal mechanics/balance for 2-, 3-, 4- player battles would have taken work and is not easy...but still...the developers may have been able to stumble/implement a winning formula!)

Anyway, I'm curious.
QUESTION: Is there a 1-player and/or 5-player mode discussed in this article?
