Post by: Otaking on September 24, 2013, 12:54:53 AM
I was just watching the latest episode of The Game Chasers and one of their guests picks up a Turbo Express with R-Type for $10.

I watched this one as well.  She also picked up a free ColecoVision.  If you read through the comments on Retroware (including mine) there are a few comments about the TE not powering up.  Looks like it might be a dead unit or in need of some love.  Either way, $10 for a TE is awesome even if it is just for parts and R-Type.

I gave mine away with a TV Tuner and a few Hucards to someone I thought was a friend. I dont know what his problem is nowadays he's acting weird I think his wife is cheating on him and he is just ignoring the world and drowning his sorrows .

I always think about how sweet it is when people find stuff like this for so cheap. However, then I think about how much my time is worth and how I don't want to waste it going from flea market to flea market or garage sale to hopelessly find a rare gem.

The person I gave my Xpress to actually utilized the TV Tuner when our power was out for a week and a half after a Hurricane hit

They've done a follow up video, yeh it seems it doesn't power up properly.

Lol, looks like someone on the forums may be getting a PM soon about trying to get it fixed.
