You can get them from Retro Game Cave (see link below) or sku code 273-1775 or 273-358 tip N from Radio Shack will work.

i looked up the the sku#s at our equivalent to radio shack here in canada - its called "the source" and those numbers didnt bring anything up - is there anymore info you can give on those 2 power supply options?

thanks

I didn't realize that Canada didn't have Radio Shacks.

Basically anything running with the correct polarity and 11V-12V will work as long as it has the 1500MA requirement. A slightly lower MA amount might work but I do not know for sure.

I've actually done a bunch of experimenting with that, and what I've found is that while, yes...a lesser amperage level can work, in a lot of cases you get some serious hiccups with the cd drive. Either the laser doesn't move, or the disk doesn't spin, or things of that nature. Hucards generally run fine though, for what it's worth.

I picked up a generic power supply from Walmart that was 1800 MA, it worked perfectly and was $18.

i dont much about power requirements but would the same power type of power supply for the cd unit work for the pc engine interface unit?  i think that one requires 9v 1.5a

After finding out that Retrogame Cave was sold out, I emailed him and got a quick response that
more are on the way, expected Oct 31 but he's possibly gonna take pre-orders towards the end of the month....Turns out its quite the popular item!
