I've been buying a lot of Playstation Portable stuff of ebay lately and ended up winning another game for 99 cents. As usual I pay right away and shortly thereafter I get refunded and the the following message appears in my inbox:
Dear flare65,
Hello,
Sorry for the inconvenience. Syphon Filter is not in stock.
List error due to our software.
Thanks for shopping with us!

This is an auction that ran all week and now that it has ended, the auction was a mistake? As some of you have read in my previous posts, this seems to happen to me a lot and I think they (Sellers) just don't like the idea of not getting a dollar for a game, so they try and back out of the deal. Usually they need a little coaxing to follow through. Here is my reply:
Dear 99kennethmcknight99,
Hey,
This is the third time this month that I won an auction for a game at 99 cents and the auction was listed in an error or the seller had "lost" it.
Either we complete the deal, or I'm leaving negative feedback. Choice is yours.
John
Here is his reply.....
Dear flare65,

So now this guy is threatening to f*ck with me. Ok, maybe I was a little hard nosed in my message to him, but if you don't have the f*cking game, why list it? I reported his response to ebay under their harrasment/threat policy. Not sure what good that will do exactly. I checked his feedback and he ha a lot of negatives. I should have looked at it before bidding this time around. Anyway, here is a link to the auction:

Call his bluff. Give him the neg and you'll be done with it. It's not like he's going to show up at your door. But if he does.....
-
Gave him the negative. He is from Canada so no worries.
-
Ha, what does he expect he backed out of an auction and you called him out on it, you were going to give him a negative so he freaked out, what a douche bag glad you reported him, you sir were in the right
-
unfarkinbelievable! what a full retard moron.. and if he decides to do some dumb shit, you always can call out sparky :D
-
Hahaha.. Ya tats, I might not have a gun but at least I have adequate dick :P
-
Give him the negative, and quote his threat in the negative feedback for all his buyers to see.
Then, find out if he has a real store or not.
If he does, tear it up.
-
You should leave the neg feedback and report him to Ebay.
-
He was teaching you a lesson: a $0.99 copy of Syphin Filter is usually owned by a piece of trash.
-
What a twat. Give him a negative and a reply saying it's a two way street and to have fun on the DHS no-fly watch list.
-
So be careful who you threat idiot.
I love how people don't proof read what they are writing any more. If you're going to call someone an idiot, at least put the "en" on threaten so you don't look like a complete moron.
I am truly scared for the future of the English language.
Glad you gave him a negative. I would have given a negative either way. Friggin' Canadians.

Totally report him to ebay, leave him negative feedback and take down what information you have on him. That's clearly a threat.

"You (and 40 other guys) gave me a negative! I'm gonna beat you up!!!"
-
Anyone who uses "brah" in responding to eBay feedback deserves to get smacked upside the head.

BE CAREFUL. HE HAS YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS.
