Title: PC Engine help
Post by: albatross on October 04, 2013, 12:44:30 PM: i recently aquired a white pc engine console and it does not work properly - when turned the screen just seems to just roll or flip continuously - it does not stay steady - has anyone ever had this problem? is it toast? thanks

FWIW, sounds like a vertical hold adjustment.

Post by: albatross on October 04, 2013, 03:23:25 PM: its connected with composite video through the interface unit (briefcase) i have another on that works fine on the same briefcase unit so i know its not the tv - do you think it may just need to be opened up and a good cleaning?

do you only need another one because you want to fit it with the cd-rom briefcase color (white to white)?

then you could try to exchange the casing from the core I / II you have with the white non-working one :)
