Was that the dude that kept on posting his stuff on Ebay? Never mind, started to read the damn thing...
DDan needs to just take his collection and open up a retro museum-arcade bar in Chi town.

The Strong isn’t just putting these games on a shelf to collect dust. While I was at the museum, they showed me some of the preservation activities they work on each day. Assistants in the lab spend hours capturing video footage directly from each game running on a genuine system, to have an alternate means of preserving the game content. And each game is entered into a searchable online database, so you can confirm that the Strong does indeed have a copy of Wonder Dog.
what a big load of crapshit?! #-o

lol..as if they ever had one from the begin with.

This museum had an arcade exhibit once, that I heard about right after it closed.
I hear it is a really good place to bring children, but it isnt set up with adults in mind. Since it is only an hour away from me I will check it out at some point, once the games are actually displayed in some capacity and not just hidden in the basement.

Well one can make a request to the museum to give his collection a look. Technically you can say you are writing a article or shooting a video for X game/game console. Researching Bazzy for historical thingamajiggies. YAY! I wonder if they'll keep the PCE games sealed. What a shame if they do.

I wonder if this means that I will be able to get hold of some nice PCE stuff in the UK rather than it all heading to France ;-) LOL

I always see hugely overpriced listings from sellers in Europe. Does anyone actually pay over $200 for Kazekiri, just to save a few dollars on shipping the game at half the price from outside Europe?

Maybe getting it from a "trusted seller" is part of the reason for the markup? I never understood that mentality personally since ebay is pretty good about buyer protection.
Also, I saw this in one of the listings, LOL

Due to too many UK buyers who are too cheap to pay for insurance, and other UK buyers who pay for insurance and then complain about french post shipping quotes for which I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE (Yes,i DO NOT DECIDE OF NATIONAL FRENCH POST PRICES),and then let me a negative feedback
I can't take lies and lame excuses anymore for unfair negative feedbacks, so ,after 15 years on Ebay, i'm sorry to say that I WILL NOT SHIP TO UNITED KINGDOM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES anymore.
I've never heard about the UK being a bad place to ship to! :?

Maybe they get hit with sizable import duty fees if it comes from the US or Japan but not from the EU? Or maybe Frenchies are just dumb.

Adol is an idiot, plain and simple, but we need to lay off the "stupid french" comments since we do have some nice members from France here. Plenty of f*ck tards and dipshits from here in the US as well.

I personally never buy anything at Ebay due to ridiculous prices in general. If I can't find what I need on Swedish auction sites (typically 50-75% of Ebay prices), I buy directly from Japan. But yes, there are no duty fees at all within the European Union and I suspect that's the main reason Europeans may think it's worth it.

sadly he deleted a lot of his contents after some shit hit le fan. but mostly can be recostructed by the many quotes done
I just read that whole monstrosity and I honestly don't believe that is the real "Adol."
How could someone with half a brain amass such a large collection? It seemed highly apparent it was some sort of high school aged troll just getting a reaction. The twin stuff was borderline RegalSin and the link to the NY Times article gave me a chuckle. Best part of the whole thread was page 8 or 9 when Cosmos came in and the "who the hell is this guy?" response was given.
With that said, I am a strong supporter of crowd-sourcing to have these prototype ROMs released. It is fair that the procurer of such items get something back. When the items are hoarded, then it is just the ultimate dick waving low self-esteem trying to make up for a lost childhood f*ckery there is.

No, it's just being French (according to Adol):

I don't, as it's in my best interest to keep my purchases to myself. Notice that that is the exact definition of selfishness.
That's where it differs in Europe. Using by yourself something you paid isn't considered selfishness in my country, but normal use. Your definition of selfishness is mistaken,or at least not worldwidely true. nobody would say you're selfish because you'll eat the sandwich you paid for, instead of giving it to the first hobo you met, like Sinistron for example.
At least he's not an evil commie like Grover, brainwashing future generations into not keeping unreleased games from video game players.
I can't find a clip of the Fox News segment where they expose this propaganda, but if what Adol says is true, it would explain the nickname "Faux News".
