Mine arrived
and they're so f*cking stupid, they packed my fancy little certificate right in the envelope and now its all bent on the corners.
Nice job, Victor! Really making that comeback solid.
-
Stop the hate. Victor doesn't deserve it. Complain about the fact that the entire industry is like Hollywood: risk-aversive and driven by generic, bland, mass-appeal "blockbusters".
-
Well, to be fair, he didn't make this game, so, ...
-
Cool, should have mine anyday then, where did it ship from?

I was just trying to annoy you. (http://junk.tg-16.com/images/pcgs.png)

Everyone should get their domestic orders by the end of next week. Still waiting on my couple I ordered.
-
Got mine today! I do wish the certificate fit inside of the case.
-
Everyon else seems to have gotten their game, but I am still waiting on mine.
Hope to see them soon!
-
At least everyone else's will likely have a non-crippled certificate, lol.
-
I got mine too (#69!), with a slightly gimped certificate and broken case.

I hope Vic does more PSP games, but I hope he packs 'em better too.
-
Me and Necro are on Team WTF Victor!?
Was yours shoved in a goofy bubble envelope that was basically too tight of a fit??
Dude's never heard of flatrate boxes apparently.
-
Yep, a tight envelope with no extra padding to prevent minor crush damage. :(
-
Yeah. Pretty disappointed, lol.
I sent them an email about it, because honestly, how do you screw that up.

Holy shit, you get the best number of all of them. Travesty :(
I'm not sure where mine are. I'd expect them by the end of the week, but I sent the copies to 2 different addresses, so I wonder if he just decided it was a multi-order and shipped them both to the same address.
-
I missed out on this one, debating trying to track down a copy.
is it any good?
-
Wait, I must be blind or just a complete moron, but, where is the game individually numbered?
-
My bubble mailer must've exploded.
-
Got my physical copy finally it sure took them long enough ](*,)
-
Got mine, too!
Probably gonna leave it sealed since they updated the PSN version.
Time to play the first CoH game. My OCD won't let me play the 2nd first ?>_>
-

I can't say yet. I'll get around to it sometime before 2018.... maybe.

It's on the hologram stickers found on the certificate thing and on the shrinkwrap on the back of the case. I couldn't leave mine sealed (VGA grading only!), so I cut that one out and slid it inside the case.

I believe the version on the UMD is also the updated version for the PSN. There was a lot of back and forth on the forums about it.
I don't use the PSN so if anyone is interested in a digital copy (I'd send you the code) for a cheaper price feel free to PM me.
-
still waiting on mine.
I have played the Digital Copy, it's not exactly my favorite type of JRPG being more of a rogue-like than a traditional style JRPG game. But I've played it a bit and found it to be less tedious than the original.
-
Still waiting on my package. Hopefully by the end of the week. Got several of each version :)
-
I keep hoping this thread is about "World Heroes 2." Alas.
-
I put about 40-50 hours into the game and really enjoyed it. It had been years since I'd played a Wizardry-styled game (Maybe the mid-90's?). I didn't actually think that I'd like the game but was pleasantly surprised all the way to the end of the game.
I'm not sure that the certificate is worth whining about. It was a free pack-in and wasn't even part of the preorder. He did it, along with the individual holograph numbers and KS version, as a reward for those who waited it out. Yeah, it's probably going to bend the corners a bit. We're all in the same boat because they all got mailed the same way.
I liked the physical digital release and hope that they do it again with future games.

Not that I really care what you think, but how will Vic learn if nobody says anything? I understand that it's an extra (though expecting an unbroken case certainly isn't), but I'm betting he wants people to be happy else he'd not have bothered at all. It's obviously too late for this one, but in the future he could make such certificates slightly smaller than the umd case (instead of slightly larger) and then there'd be no issues at all.
Here's the innards if anyone wanted to see 'em:

The topic was already discussed In the Gaijinworks forums. He posted that they mailed many samples to see the results of the transit in the padded envelopes with the certificates. They found this padded mailer to be acceptable. The smaller envelope was used to keep everything from moving around and causing poor results. A box was too cost prohibitive.
I'm pretty sure that this certificate is a one-time thing anyway. If history shows us anything, he does something different with every game.
Unfortunately, you happened to get a damaged case but I haven't seen any others report this. I know that they he mentioned that some spares were fabricated for warranty purposes, so they might be able to swap it out.
-
Flatrate USPS box = 5.85$ to ship. How is that cost prohibitive.
I sent them an email and don't expect to hear back.
Or, I will hear back in about 18 months like how Working Designs went.
Took me 2 years to get my free poster for the strategy guide purchase.
They sent the wrong one when it finally showed up, AND it was damaged anyways.
a year later, I got the right one, and a free poster of my choice.
but still, how do you take that long to respond to things.

Which poster? I've got the one from Lunar:SSSC hint guide and and one from Ark the Lad. I'd love to get a copy of that Lunar2 poster but bascially anything WD that shows up on ebay anymore is retard priced. I saw a standee go for over 200 f*cking dollars too. What the hell.
Oh, and I got a copy of the game yesterday, woo!
-
Got mine. Forgot I ordered 6. I thought it was 4.

Still didn't get mine... lame!

It's months behind schedule anyway, so what's another week or so? :P

When something that is months behind schedule doesn't show up when everyone else has it, that can be concerning! Obviously there were some issues already :P

I predict undiscovered boxloads of these flooding ebay in about 10-15'ish years or so like Exile and Cosmic Fantasy 2 lol.

lolol.
I'm still trying to figure out a funny name for Gaijin Works.
Working Delays worked great.
-
My fears were unwarranted, I received my package in the mail Saturday with a copy of the kickstarter and a copy of the original version.
-
Still don't have my other copy, I'm hoping it came over the weekend to my office!
-
Got my other copy yesterday, and certified my lunch at the same time!
