Order of the Griffon is reason enough to keep TG-16.
Otherwise, sadly, you may be correct.
I predict that you will suffer an uncontrollable urge to play, replay and kiss Order of the Griffon in two years.
However, the TurboExpress screen can't properly display text, nor does it offer backup save, so you will be acquiring a TG-16 console in the near future.
Or, a region mod on your PCE console.

I played almost all games i loved back in the 90s so all i want is to have them when i want to play them . I have a Pandora Handheld with all the games loaded , a X360 JTAG with Emu , a original CoreGrafx2 with an 3.5 inch LCD that can display the PCEs native resolution plus Nec Avenue Pad and PCE Original Pad plus the 50+ Jap cards . I also have about 20 CD Games . Am not really an collector , just loved the PCE , as well as SNES and all other consoles up to today . Although the PC Engine was the most rememberable and legendary thing for me and my friends . Was unbelievable to play CD Rom games back in 89 ... lightyears ahead back then .

$2K is still incredibly high. Even if you put Bonk 3 at $300 (which is insane) and the TE at $200 (which is doubly insane) that means Magical Chase has a price of $1500 (which is ludicrous) for a loose copy. Even some of the more insane members here wouldn't shell out $1500 for a loose MC.

It's also only the minimum bid ammount. It is ludicrous to attempt an auction anywhere but eBay when thousands of dollars are involved, even if you actually had something worth that much. Trying to gouge the experts you asked advice from on a forum you are new to doesn't instill confidence that you are passionate about the PC Engine any more than the lurking insta-collectors/investment flippers.

Edit: just read up on the US Magical Chase flipping thing, bit of douche thing to do, pick it up for 80 (well done) but then try and sell it on here for double eBay prices.

i can see making some cash but damn, thats kinda bunk. crazy prices usually means they dont wanna sell. just show off, lots of this shit in VW world. they always pull this shit. theyll get stuff free or just abut, then slang it!

Ack... I hate when this stuff happens to clueless people. No one gets harmed, except the guy that unknowingly sold the games to you, but it just bothers me that it wasn't me. I'm completely jealous as I'd flip MC in a heartbeat. No game is worth $1K+ so I'd sell it and take my kids on vacation.
I especially like the part about how you reminisce with the video store guy about old times and yet you have yet to tell him "Ha ha! You snooze, you lose!"
When you get the $1K+ for MC (and you will) make sure you fan the stack of cash in front of the video store guy, or better yet buy a really expensive watch and then show it to the guy and when he asks where you got the fast stack of cash to pay for it make sure you tell him "I stole it out of your mindless hands for 80 Euros!" then watch as he turns red, frowns, finishes working his lowly 8 hours at the flea market and goes home to cook his 4 children boxed pasta with canned tomato sauce.
Stupidity shouldn't be rewarded. I hope you get hit by a truck or lorry or whatever the hell they're called.
[EDIT]BTW, if it's not clear in my rant, I'd at least offer the video store guy a cut. At the very least share the $$$ with him and let him know. Hell he might have 3 more copies buried somewhere.

Hi there i am new to this forum and like to say hello :)
I have been an PC Engine Fan back in the days in the late 80s to early 90s and i still am . Last week i got an PC Engine Core Grafx plus an Turbo Express along with 60 Cards (games) . I bought it on a fleamarket . All in almost new condition , together for only 80 Euros(thas about 100 USD) . This startet my PC Engine ,madness again :) Already made the soundfix on the TE .

I am disappointed that pcengine4eva is selling this way.
However, I have deep, spiritual need to own Magical Chase.
I lost this game after old yeller chewed it up "LOL," so if anyone values cyber friendship over $2000, and wants to sell it to me cheap, please let me know.
