How them dolphins working out for ya?

I officially give up on them. The coach sux. The team has no heart or disipline> I saw this loss coming from faaar away. Even when I saw the fins up 19 unanswered points i knew they would choke and die.

Now im just waiting for my xanax prescription and get my NFL2K5 on. With fantasy players, im in franchise season 2020 . Epic , new stars in the leauge, new powerhouse teams. Without cheating I've made it to the super bowl 7 times. Won 5

Haha.  Its unfortunate because the fins looked headed in the right direction a few weeks ago.  New look team, youth, got rid of aging vets.  They have a good foundation to work with, but they need to blow up front office and coach staff.  This "bully-gate" will be a good excuse to do it.  Just think, if they start now, in 4 years brady will be 40 and the fins could have a good organization ready to play in the NFL.
Could be worse, you could be a raider fan.

^There is a million teams you hear nothing about that are 4-5 right now

Like you said I hope bullygate gets this dumb coach fired

My team is undefeated. Neener neener!

Sadly, no more.  But they'll have their revenge in 2 weeks!

Up in cheeseland we've all been in a downward spiral ever since our fearless leader Aaron Rodgers got hurt....

Not to say the entire season is lost (we're only 5-5, but feel like we're sitting at 1-9), but it's going to have to be absolute perfect games from here on out to make the playoffs...

So happy the fins won last night 5-5, just gotta beat the dirty jets to make it to the playoffs

Galam obviously no when there are teams that were expected to do well this year with 2-8 3-7 records.

awww did the Dolphins just beat AGAIN one of the top AFC teams? Playoff BOUND BABY!!! Like I said, wait till the playoffs.

Fun fact, if the Patriots lose their next two, and the fins win their next two, FINS take the Division. Woulda thought that at 3-5? me

Fins got two EASY games left compared to the super bowl of  a game they had today.

Fins got two EASY games left compared to the super bowl of  a game they had today.

And THAT is what separates the dope-phins from the NFL.
That game WAS their Super Bowl.

I guess when the pats have won the last 7 against the Miami dolls, that the law of averages will eventually catch up. Could be worse, you could be a bills fan.

Post by: Xak on December 16, 2013, 01:09:43 AM
^Dude we play the pats twice a year. They only won by 3 points earlier this year. We dominated the first half in our first meeting. The opposite happened this time. Our whole team is made of rookies and 2nd year men. Even our QB, Brady is like a 12 year veteran or more
Title: Re: The NFL
Post by: bob on December 16, 2013, 01:46:30 AM
Regardless of rosters (rooks/vets), every team SHOULD win one of the games against division opponents.
In the NFL, if you play a team twice a year (year after year), and you lose both, that falls on the coaches not doing their homework.
This is by FAR the worst team brady has ever had to work with.  Frankly, the pats dont deserve the playoffs at all.  The expectation is that they will probably lose their first game anyway.
But i'll take a terrible pats team and #2 seed over rebuilding every year.

Its amusing when fans of down-troddden teams start hyping "playoffs".
Got to look at the entire landscape of the tournament and realize even if the dolls get in, they have no shot.

Post by: bob on December 16, 2013, 02:14:52 PM
Oh, and don't get me wrong. I'm a realist, pats have no shot either. Unless a new gronk magically grows out of the 50 yard line.

And it is about this time each season when I realize why I hate being a cowboys fan. . . well at least the local teams are winning . . . oh wait.  Damn the NFC East sucks this year, only team worth two cents of damn is the Eagles right now, and I don't give em much of a chance to win a playoff game.
Title: Re: The NFL
Post by: Xak on December 17, 2013, 03:17:03 PM
^I like the Eagles. I saw Foles' very first NFL start ever last year and saw his potential. Hope he grows to be a legend because I explicitly remember his very first entrance to the NFL. Vick went down of course

oh and the Dolphin hater... dude the Giants won a Superbowl after going 9-7 in the regular season against..... THE PATS.... Aaron Hernandez is the future of the franchise.

Jerry Jones needs to hire a GM that knows how to build a team and staff.  I think 20 years is a long enough project...

Turboswim , your right sorry for jumping to conclusions , I just hate how THE NFL NETWORK all year has ignored the Fins, their big wins, their close losses, but yet they cover other teams that ARE DOING WORSE. Why? Cuz the CRAP teams have "big names" and the fins are a buncha rookies and 2nd and 3rd year men.

FINALLY the NFL network has given respect to the fins this morning. Just gotta win the next two and we are guaranteed in. I hope the Pats lose, just to steal the Divisional title from them.

Jerry Jones . . . is too busy hiring people to run the cheer-leading squad or something.  I've given up on this, no reason not to at least be making playoff runs given the talent level of the team.  damn things are same every year September = sucks October and November = great December = complete failure.

Looking forward to watching the playoffs though.  I'm thinking Seahawks / Chiefs would be an interesting superbowl match up. who woulda picked both of them to even be talked about as a possible matchup at this point in the season? maybe one but both? I would prefer this to the 49ers, Bronocos suggestions at the beginning of thee season.

I think the Seahawks were very much talked about prior to the season.
Now that the tourney is set in stone, the only real surprise was the chargers getting in.
Didn't expect the panthers to win the division, but they are my pick to make it for NFC.
which kind of stinks. Super Bowl "rematches" always bore the piss out of me. Just like I was pissed that the sox finally make it, and they had to play the cards again. When my team makes it, I want to see a different opponent than prior.
We already beat the panthers in the SB.

So many Fin fans i wanna cry :D  Broncos vs Eagles superbowl (My pick, Eagles are a longshot but I pray, I would like to see either the Broncos or Eagles win it all)

Fins season over,  I fill my scrip today and start my new season on NFL2k!!! I got a QB I drafted 3 (game) years before and he is now my starter since I cut my way too expensive 7 year starter fro my team. This guy is a fast scrambling QB , he is black 6'6 wearing the #1 proud. Only rated  76 overall but super fast runner, average to below average arm strength but very accurate . He leads the league in passer rating and I think TD passes right now. I've rushed him for ony 200yards in ten or so games though. He is much better at passing than his ratings say.

Great times at Ridgmond High......... YEAHH I will take pics from a mobile device to show off my proud team! Im in a year where almost the whole league has "made up" players. This is the BEST part of franchise mode. When the true Football RPG experience starts.

I noticed  Sega  made a cool "feature" in the game. If a "made up" player has a rare last name, he will most likely become a superstar. The announcers say all the last names of made up guys instead of simply just saying their number.

Also I am playing with a made up team, I replaced Tampa Bay with my team The Spartans . Named after my real HighSchool team. Man do I miss SMASHING into mutha *****'z . I was only 5'11 but I played defense against some big freakin nameks (safety).

i hope to see Broncos vs Niners in the bowl,

So I'm from Denver.  I was born and raised there blah blah blah...  Of course I live in Tennessee right now.  East Tennessee people ADORE Payton Manning.  I guess because he went to the University of Tennessee and played for the Volunteers or something.   So a while back overnight we got a TON of Broncos fans.  It was the weirdest thing.  So many insta-fans lol.  My answer is to wear Super Bowl 32 and 33 shirts and get weird looks from people.  Someone asked: "Where'd you get that shirt!??!"  to which I answered:  "A store... in Denver... in 1997"

A friend said it perfectly on Facebook.....

"Manning and Brady are so, so good. But neither is the best QB in that stadium. That would be Elway."
