Stryder is almost exactly like Rastan. Both Stryder and Rsatan were programmed by SNK and feature shared graphcis and music and gameplay they are the same except name.

Don't know if it really counts as "hack and slash" but Black Tiger is one of my all time faves in the arcade (they have a dedicated cab of this at Galloping Ghost!)

Definitely check out Gaiapolis by Konami in MAME. I would also check out Light Bringer by Taito. You'll also need MAME for that since it's on F3 hardware and was never released on console. (sadly)
