Back on topic: fact-checking is rarely done these days. Folks honestly don't care or lack the ability to conduct basic research.
Which reminds me: Everyone simply scrapes mediocre content from each other, repackaging the same old pap.
AND YET: the folks who actually do a decent job (researching, fact-checking, creating original content)...these are the folks who are difficult to find because you have to sift through an ocean of shite before you find something decent.
P.S. If Pokemon had been included in the Top 30, I would have no complaints. If you think I'm serious, please bludgeon yourself with your precious Pokemon. Did I mention that my daughter loves Pokemon? Total crap. Sorry, I know a lot of you actually play that shite. There's only about 3 or 4 retro gaming podcasts I can stand to listen to due to their aforementioned quality control and fact checking. I can deal with lack of production values, etc. but if you f*ck up the facts, it makes me want to rip my stereo out of the car.

that video was pretty awful, but the diablo one was funny. But seriously, all this girl gamer shit is annoying. Every site out there has to have some boney as bitch talk about games. None of these girls are attractive, they are like 3rd world models. The sad part is, they try to bring attractive girls in, as opposed to girls who just enjoy video games. I'm reminded of a better time, when game spot TV was on the channel ZD TV. Kate Botello and Adam Sessler used to do honest game news and reviews. Miss those days

Top XX's are like having a political or religious belief, it just warrants argument. Stick with sports, or if like me and have no sports knowledge, preach obey! I do not hear many folks jumping out of buildings or blowing them up over the Lions (or SNES).

I try to stay away from Youtube mumbo jumbo, and only use it for finding/listening to music. Much more relaxing.
I really can't stand all these wanna be girl gamers. They actually do give female gamers a bad name. There are ladies out there that really are into old school games and know their stuff.

I remember Doom Death matches back on my old 56K. 007 may have been the first popularized console version but again Zero Tolerance had a link cable back in the day for 2 player death matches or co-op.

99.99% of everyone are dumbasses.
When folks on podcasts/blogs/YouTube speak about their area of expertise, it can be a wonderful thing. The problem is that MOST FOLKS have a very small area of "expertise".
When they stray from their domain of knowledge, they get into trouble.
This is a "master of the obvious" level observation, but it is true nonetheless.
I'm sure Socrates was complaining about bullsh*t like this BITD, so it's not like I have anything to look forward to (except more frustration).
