My ears perked up when I watched this video - at the 2:15 mark, when the guy from Conan gets hit with the spike, isn't that one of the Golden Axe death sound effects?

There are several samples taken from films. I don't remember them all, but I believe that the guy falling from the helicopter in First Blood is another.
