Title: 1990 CES flyer handout
Post by: jelloslug on January 23, 2014, 05:41:31 AM
I just acquired this little envelope of possibly CES handout flyers from late 1990.  Enjoy!

Neato!  Thanks for sharing this.

Look at the Camp California blurb: we've got yet another location for the comma/apostrophe/acute.  Perhaps they meant it to be Yo BrĂ³.

Nice! I'm glad to see you picked one of these up- i was seriously considering it but couldn't justify the expense.  Thanks for sharing!

Mind if I eventually put this on DoxPhile? ( :  You'll be credited of course!

--edit---

it certainly does look like it came from a CES booth thingy... the one pictured is from 1991 and has 2 rings... wonder what year yours came from (i'm not the most observant person in the world... hah):

I don't think it's like the display above.  I remember seeing that display in stores back in the day.  It had much thicker, almost plastic pages that were not full sheet sized.  The pages in my brochure are just normal glossy paper.  You can use it if you want.

The dividers (like the red one on the right in the photo above) were thick and plastic like but the pages that had the game descriptions were a thick laminated paper. They were NOT full sheet sized. So you're 100% right.

And thanks for sharing!  Always great to see new stuff show up!
