How many on here actually have a complete US Hucard collection?

I'm missing a big bunch. Some are the super-expensive ones, which I'll never get.

HuCards? Four short. CDs? One. (They're listed in my sig). I think only Soldier Blade is obtainable for me at this point. I'm not really interested in spending gobs of cash to grab the other four.

I never will, because I don't really collect.  Just buy good games is all.  Games can be ejected from the library if they are really bad.

I am short 5 games which really bothers me since I used to own all of them until I sold everything 10 years ago!!!

I really don't want a full set, as many are just not good games, and I don't want a game just to have it.

Ys book 1&2 is the only US TG16 game I own.  :D

I don't know why anyone would be proud of not owning US games.  Shunning the good US exclusive games just because they're not Japanese is as silly as having a (near) complete US collection but no PCE gems.

100% agree. Plus, some games, even with basic story lines, are more enjoyable translated/dubbed into English (sometimes for unintended awesomeness...like the English vocals in the two songs from Last Alert/Red Alert...I love them).

Tats can suck my left one. Order of the Griffon, among others, is worth owning.  (http://junk.tg-16.com/images/pcgs.png)

Do the CD System Cards count?

If they do count, I am missing 4... If not then only 3

Chase H.Q.
Legend of Hero Tonma
Magical Chase
Super System Card (v3.0)

Since you said a COMPLETE Hu card collection specifically:

If by complete you mean boxes, case, instructions, game and pack-ins then I'm light years away.

If you just mean loose, 2 left to go.

My collection is probably 80% PCE and maybe 20% Turbob, prices on most turbo stuff just put me off from picking it up so I stick to imports.

not even close. But i am happy with my collection. Don't feel like i will go for a complete set because im not buying some of the crazy expensive games out there. I think the one game i would be willing to spend a lot of money on would be exile :wicked phenomenon because i do want a complete working designs collection

The only US title that I don't have is Magical Chase (although I have the PC Engine version).

I'm missing Magical Chase and Hero Tonma  ](*,)

Probably the 2 hardest to get lol. Sadly i'll probably never own a complete set because of crazy prices, but i hold on to some hope that maybe i'll find 'em somewhere like a thrift store or something lol.

Honestly I am perfectly satisfied having the complete - 1 collection.  I try and give every game a fair shake.  Some of them are real turds though....

Well well look at all the hardcore collectorz with all of their complete or near complete sets.  This is the reason that Turbo is so expensive because f*cktards have to own EVERY SINGLE game to sit on the shelf and be fapped to ever night.

What happened to obeying and playing the games for fun?  You guys make me sick!!!

As for your stupid question I am 93/94 HuCards right now  :-"

Hu cards - I'm short the manual for Jackie Chan, Legend of Hero Tonma, and Magical Chase.  I figure the manual is still obtainable for JC.  As for LOHT I opted for the PCE version instead.  MC will always be out of my league, even the PCE version.

CD-ROM - I have about half.  The rest are just too pricey for my wallet.

im only 57 games in the collection so far. looking to get more but i know for sure, i won't be able to get all since magical chase would be impossible for me.

Im 38 away but a few will be a long wait if ever....oh and thatt doesnt count the varients cause i dont fill that makes the set but if i come across them i might throw them in or trade depends just dont see the point other than maybe bonk 3 hucard since it seems different enough with music and in game differences.

I have 35 hu cards & 6 cds. I will grab some more games over time.

I had a Sega Saturn complete US set & still have a complete 32X US set so I've gotten rid of my complete set mentality and now want games I'll play often.

I do suggest going for a complete set of something large or small at least once though. There is a satisfaction in seeing a complete set and having access to all the games.

I remember your Saturn set from Sega16!  The fact that you had a sealed Daytona CCE Netlink was insane.   I had considered going for a full Saturn set, but I'll never spend what people are asking for it now.

I have about 40 hu cards and 10 CD/SCD. I don't really have any interest in obtaining a complete hu card set, but I am definitely interested in some day obtaining a full CD/SCD set. But with the prices of games nowadays, that will probably never happen   :(

That was one of the first things I sold 8) Paid off some bills and got it in the hands of someone else who'd appreciate it. When you subtract the fees I lost like $50 but I've never considered gaming an investment.

You wouldn't happen to be in sell mode for the cleaning disc?

Been looking for that thing forever, so I am curious if you happen to have / had that in your complete set.

I'm planing on keeping it at the moment. I probably promised it to someone in the past so I'd need to check a few threads/pms elsewhere.

Kind of cool, I'm guessing that was a US release because of the box art?

I've seen a cleaning kit for the Mega CD as well but it was much lamer packaging.

That is a US release.  As sonic runs around on your screen while the disc cleans, I guess it is considered "software," in which case it is my missing "game."

You donate blood, you sell your plasma.

It's something like $50 a session last I remember, but the idea of them taking your blood out of you, separating your plasma, and putting your blood back in you seemed kind of creepy to me.

Yeah I have actually had that done before. Was planning on doing it sometime this week too. It is weird and you have to squeeze your arm so blood flows properly. I didn't and my arm started vibrating. Also your lips turn numb. It's weird

Same here man.  Only time I have paid over $100 was for an arcade pcb.  That was only around $130.  Console games I have yet to spend over $75 to this day.

Best part is when they pump saline into you to make up for the lack of plasma? And offer a cookie? Feels like ice water in your veins. Yeah! *shivers*

Shit's gone really out of control price-wise over the past few years. I'm stuck at 92 for about 5 years now. Is anyone else this close but no cigar?
