Greetings
So after lurking off and on for a year or so and spending the past two years exploring the Sega Saturn library, I decided to give into the itch and chose to delve into the PC Engine. Being born in the early 90's and having very little input on what console we had around the house, I was brought up with the traditional duck hunt/mario combo cart and TMNT 2 co op with my neighbor, never even hearing the slightest mention of "Keith Courage" or "Bonk". I suppose, ultimately, I was just a bit to late to the party. Now, as a combination of interest and fascination with exploring import titles and games never even released here in the US as well as the excitement for playing a library of games I know very little about, it's really got me really jonesin' to play and collect for the platform. It seems that i'm maybe a bit younger than a majority of the "veterans" here but hopefully as soon as my IFU setup (props to Keith Courage) arrives, i'll be able to partake in more of the discussion threads on the board as well as participate in the "Game of the week".
As far as personal shit is concerned, i'm a Computer Science/Computer Information Technology student here in Texas and extend, arguably, a bit too much of my attention into video games and video game culture.
Anyways, everyone on the forum has been real cool and supportive so far and I, hopefully, can get the chance to get to know you all a bit better as I begin to play some of the core titles for the system and embody this so called "Obey" mentality.

Hey! We chatted about a week ago about stuff. How has your search been for a PCE? I think I'm finally about to get one. I'm stoked.
Yo J! I ended up buying a PCE IFU briefcase setup with the S-Video mod which, if the USPS tracking system is accurate, should actually arrive here today though I have no idea which game i'm going to play first. Grats on possibly lining something up and let me know what you end up pulling in.
