I never saw it, but then again, by 1994 I had stopped hanging out in Arcades. Since it's a JAMMA, that probably means that a lot of them were retro fitted with other software and marquees. The KLOV lists the arcade version as very rare with no known sitings.
Bummer. But then again, that's what we have MAME for.

Hardware wise, was it just a TG16 with a JAMMA frame and connectors, or something more?

My friend Scott saw one in Tilt(IIRC) back in the day. That's all I can tell you. :?

According to the many arcade game database sites:
Main CPU : 68000 (@ 16 Mhz)
Sound Chips : (2x) OKI6295 (@ 12 Khz)
Screen orientation : Horizontal
Video resolution : 320 x 240 pixels
Aspect Ratio : 4/3
Screen refresh : 60.00 Hz
Palette Colors : 32768
So, it was a bit more. =) It also apparently featured a female freind for Bonk as a playable Character (and I don't mean Princess Za).

I've seen screens. Its a completely original game. Have you asked the usual sources? Cosmicco, etc?
