So, while watching a longplay of the arcade AeroBlasters on YouTube, it became apparent how little the PC Engine port suffers, and how the red missile's tracking was improved on the PC Engine. I'll take the PCE's red missile over the arcade's any day.

Every aspect of the game was tweaked or at least streamlined to make the most from a smaller cart size.
Several spots have more enemies on-screen at once than the Genesis version and I think a few places have more than the arcade.
I prefer the overall gameplay of the Turbo version. The only thing I don't like is how the speed tunnel is depicted.

The new music on Level 2 is orgasmic. :P
The PCE version as a port isn't as good as the Genny version, but it is still close enough, and numerous tweaks make it a much better game.
Took me a while to beat too. Serious dedication. A wonderful game.
Level 6 is really cheap, but I managed.
Finally, that charge bomb is your best friend. Never be afraid to use it (but be careful when).

This game kicks my ass and sends me packin'. Every time.

The Turbo is the best of all versions. The new music in level 2 is the icing on the cake. The original level 2 music is so boring.

if even joe says so, it must be ultimate true :)

There is no need to even discuss this: AeroBlasters is all you need. Period. (http://junk.tg-16.com/images/pcgs.png)
