I didn't see any mention of this anywhere else, so I'm posting it here.
Chris Covell is finally putting together an original PCE game, although it looks like it'll be a rom and as such will only be playable on real hardware with the flash card, which looks a lot more desirable now.
Its a puzzle game called Tongueman's Logic.
Man, this guy sure is good with color and the screenshots look super proffessional.

I already posted my comments on the Magic Engine boards about it :D .
To sum it up, it's incredible.

Looks good, but why did he use PAL Mega Drive style text on the Demo Push Run text? :P

The same reason there's a Gameboy stage. Cuz he's awesome. :D
-
Oooh, he he. I didn't even notice the Game Boy. Looks cool! :)
-
I finally actually played the game a few minutes ago and I'm really impressed by the gameplay(as well as the 3D flipping title).
This game would make a lot of money on DS, especially in Japan.

Well then, what are you waiting for? It's portin' time!

All he needs is a million dollar bond.

5 Million, actually.

I have been so addicted to this game, it's really amazing.

I must be dumb, but I can't figure that game out. I'm terrible with puzzle games.....atleast, there kind of puzzle games!
-
Hi, all. Unfortunately, my website is temporarily down, but in the meantime, I'll post a new map I made for the 10x10 puzzles. I hope you like it:

My game is slowly, but surely, reaching the end of development!

That background is so frickin' awesome!
-
lookin good man
-
 I....LOVE.......IT! Sheesh, I'd love to see that as game by itself(I know it's Bonk 2's tiles, but, something like that)!

Is this all original art/graphics?
Did you rework tiles from an existing game or anything?
-
That Bonk screen looks pretty cool (hmm... isometric Bonk 4 future project? ). It's just as nice as the circuit board screen Mr. Covell revealed earlier.
-
I hope you like it
Splendid. Absolutely splendid. :)

Of course, I imitated the style of tiles from Bonk 1 and 2, but I drew everything from scratch. (Simply shearing the Bonk tiles to isometric perspective looks awful, and it wouldn't be much of a challenge, would it?)
-
I finally tried this game out, and it indeed rules! I would definitely buy a CD version!
-
Nice!!
That level design looks like Bonk meets Crystal Castles.
-
I kinda forgot about it....but isn't there a PCE shooter thats been in dev. for like 2 years now.
-
Check out turbo2k.net for the latest screenshots. From MindRec.

those screens look sweet, I cant wait

Those graphics are all Fragmare! He's got good stuff in store for ya'll! Don't forget about PC Gunjin as well, though, it seems like he's been concentrating on Xymati the most lately. He's also helped a bit for a joint project between Tomaitheous, Keranu, Frag, & myself. But, I'm not totally sure if Tom has revealed what project we're doing, so, I can't reveal it until he's ready to reveal it :D
-
The only game i know about is dragon warrior, your working on the music and keranu and some one else are working on tiles/sprites.
-
Ah, ok, so, I guess the cat's out of the bag then. I knew it was public about the NES version running on the PCE CD, but, I couldn't remember if the remix version was announced. There is more though, of which I found out recently, but, I'll leave it to Tomaitheous to announce or whatever.
-
Any ETA on when the remix will be finished?
I expect to be BLOWN AWAY. Please live up to my hopes and dreams.
-
No idea, Tom's putting on the finishing touches to the emulation of the original, last time I asked. So, the remix is now up & coming, & I'm sure he'll have a youtube video of it, once it's coming together. That's all I know for now.
