I need to get a replacement Sega Master System ASAP before MGC in April. My system took a fatal fall and won't be repairable most likely. Please if anyone has a loose system they want to get rid of PM me. This sucks. :(

I can bring mine. I have 2 light phasers, but it seems they have both kicked the bucket. :(

I have found a replacement but I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will arrive in time. Thanks for the offer though, Rolf.

Sure thing! If it doesn't look like it'll arrive in time, I can still bring mine up.

Yeah. Luckily I think the FM chip is fine.

I'm still hurt that you broke my creation.

I'm just as hurt. :(

The system fell about 7 feet breaking most of the plastic on the inside. The shell is only being held together by one screw. All the other screw "hold-downs" broke during impact. There is also a large crack running along the top. The only thing that survived was the main board and the FM chip. If I could find just an empty shell would be cool.

ah, so there's no damage to the electronics, only the shell? at east :)
so just glue everything together :) or use a hot air gun and weld the plastics together :bernie:

Yeah, at least the guts still work. I use Loctite adhesive/glue that is like a gel for fixing a lot of busted plastics, especially Sega longboxes, and it does a really good job. I think a bottle is about $5, and it normally sets within about 30 seconds.
If you've got the time/patience and all the plastic bits you might be able to get it looking halfway decent again.

Bump. I found one but it needs some love. I spent half my evening cleaning her up but there isn't anything I can do for its scuffed up faceplate. So, I am still kinda looking. Keeping my fingers crossed that I'll find one at MGC maybe.
