Title: exact release date of PC Engine GT

I know the TurboExpress was released in 1990, but wasn't the GT out in Japan in late 1989? Does anyone know the exact date it came out? The Jap and US models weren't released at the same time were they?

Not sure of the exact date, but yeah te GT was released first in 1989. The TE came two year later.
