Dungeon Explorer II for sale. It's a good playing copy. It has scratches and the manual has the normal DE2 wear marks near the binding. UNFORTUNATELY, the back artwork is missing . Looking for $150 obo from a member that has a post count as much as mine OR has been a member for at lease one full year.
Sparky has also offered to send the buyer a "prestige copy" of the back to complete it. We know what good work he lays down.

No, that's what he would hope to flip it for. ;) He's got 3+ kids to feed, clothe and provide shelter for... Don't judge him. :P
I always wanted this game actually, it's one of the few Action-RPGs the system got localized for the US, but I wasn't willing to pay the $50 or whatever at TurboZoneDirect back in the day. I believe it went down to $29.99 but they sold out by the time I saw that. Thankfully, I don't place a high value on owning an original CD so I can sit back and watch the profiteering madness and simply feel sorry for those that would like to own the real thing. If I can simply ask a friend to rip the game and then it can be beat in 3+ days, it's hard to justify paying over $100+ from my perspective. Most I ever paid for a game was $85 for Dracula X (new) and Arc the Lad Collection for PSX. I don't really ever intend to go beyond that pricepoint for a videogame, especially for something used (but that's just me).
Anyway, that said, I guess that's a decent enough asking price relative to the eBay madness, all things considered. Don't really believe it's worth it, but you probably paid at least $100-$120+ when you got it so I understand having to go above to recover what was paid and add a markup. If the markup is fair enough, then you probably deserve most people's respect here. Far contrast to Mr. "anal trust" wanting to squeeze every last dollar that he can out of people here...

Actually, I paid just under $300 shipped for it because the manual was really nice. I took the manual out of it, replaced it with my more worn manual and I am trying to get some money back out of it. Unfortunately, it had a back BUT it wasn't real. So instead of marking it up, I'm loosing money. But if that will help someone here that doesn't mind it missing a back. Maybe one day karma will come back.
-
That's even more respectable then... +10 Karma to you.

I just can't believe it hasn't sold yet...

I'll buy it if it hasn't sold by the time my tax return or next paycheck come in. Very generous of you to let it go at such a low price. Wishing I had some extra cash to burn!
Ditto!

Nope, just surprised. I was excited to bring a little unexpected OBEY to someone's Friday.

Thanks for the friendly price, I've been wanting to play Dungeon Explorer 2 for a long time.
So, Dungeon Explorer was one of my favorite games. 5 player Gauntlet action with ARPG sensibilities? Yes please. On only 2 occasions in my life I was able to get the full 5 player game going. The first was one random night when I was a kid. The second time, a friend of mine bought the game on wiiware. I'd mentioned playing it occasionally over the years. Anyway, one time I was hanging out over at his place and he was like "Dude, that Dungeon Explorer game is awesome! You wanna play?"
"f*ck yeah, I'll go get my Turbo Grafx!"
"No, we bought it on wii!"
Anyway, playing the game on wii kinda sucked but it was still a good time with a good game. At some point in the next 10 or 20 years I'll get around to a full 5 man game of DE2 as well, I'm sure!

I have NEVER owned a Multitap so in 24 years I've never need able to play multiplayer anything on TG. I ordered my first Multitap this yesterday. I'm going to make the wife and kids play with me next weekend.
Again; congratulations!
