Title: Who are the Cartridge Crusaders?
Post by: Desh on April 28, 2014, 06:25:35 AM
My friends and I started a small YouTube channel about a year ago.  We just uploaded the newest episode this morning.  I thought some of you might enjoy it as there is a good amount of TurboGrafx material on the newest episode.

I also wanted to spread the word about an upcoming contest/ giveaway we are going to start in the next week or so.  We are pretty new to YouTube and use very basic tools for our show but, we are overwhelmed with the kind comments and support and in recognition of surpassing the 1,000 subscriber mark, we are going to give away three retro gaming items.  I am not currently going to mention what 1st or 3rd prize will be but, I wanted to post a picture of an NES reproduction I finished this weekend that will be 2nd prize.  If you are interested, stay tuned to our channel (www.youtube.com/cartridgecrusaders (http://www.youtube.com/cartridgecrusaders)) in the next week or so and we will have a video outlining what the contest is about and showcase the prizes.

Yeah, the video production for your show was very good, basic tools or not.

Thank you both!  I cannot take credit for the editing though.  I may throw out an idea or two in that department but Crum does all of the editing on the show.  I think he does a pretty good job for being self taught by playing around with editing software.

Watched the first few episodes, not bad.

I hate to admit that I am not that fond of the first few episodes.  I think they got better around episode 5.  Also, we couldn't upload bigger videos until episode 8 (I think) so there was a lot of stuff that had to be cut out that I wish we could have saved in the earlier ones.

Thanks for checking it out though!

Cartridge Crusaders NOT Cartridge Cleaners.  On that topic though.  Is anyone else as baffled as me about the condition you find some games in?  I mean seriously, I've gotten games that looked like someone shit on them, then let their 3-year old play with them in a sand box, shit on them again, and then threw them in an attic for 20 years.

Sounds like an Angry Video Game Nerd episode to me...

Nah, if he were gonna rant about that he'd probably do an episode of You Know What's Bullshit? Either that or have the Bullshit Man do another cameo like in the Tiger Games episode.
