I went into a local game shop today (where I am a regular) and the shop owner says, "I found some stuff I think you'll want.". He knows I've been really into collecting for TG16 recently so he had found these and they were a few things he had left from his personal TG16 collection he sold years ago. I couldn't pass this stuff up but I can't really find an average value on Hawaiian Island Girls. I want to say it's like in the $100.00 range but I don't know for sure. Anyone have more info on this as I'm not finding much on the inter webs.
Also, it's worth noting that I feel bad for the poor saps that slapped down $89.95 U.S. to purchase these games back in the day. They must have been sorely disappointed.

...people want those dust-covers? I think I've got 3 of them lying around...
...wonder if I can get 5 figures for the lot on ebay...
-
The girlie disc's are an enigma. People try to gouge for 500+. People tend to buy for 100-200... bit most owners picked them up for next to nothing in their local porn shops.
notes:
1. The dust cover... toymachine needs one. Unless you need one, you'll find yourself burning in eternal hellfire if you don't sell it to him for a reasonable price. ($500-600)
2. The bloody wolf turboforce is one of two I need to complete my scans at DoxPhile.com. scan it for me @ 300ppi or sell it to me for $30 or let me pay shipping both ways to borrow/scan it or you'll find yourself burning in eternal hellfire.
your soul is on the line.
choose wisely.
Hahaha! I have no problem scanning it for you. However, the original owner (said shop owner) did cross off a few of the cheats in the cheat section because, "He didn't want to be tempted because he owned those games.". Also, there is a Klax ad on the back cover that he cut the Ten gen logo out of for some reason. If this is acceptable material I will send it your way.
On the topic of the dust cover. I have a spare console that currently has one with broken tabs and I was going to put this one on instead. However, being new to TG16 my game collection is small and I could be tempted to trade the cover for crappy/ cheap Hu Cards I don't have or other retro video game items.

I can clean everything up in photoshop. Just be sure to set ppi to 300, place a sheet of black paper behind the page being scanned, and disable all of the features of the scanner (unsharp mask, color correction, descreen, etc...) before scanning and you will be my hero!
The pro approach :D
Do you stitch maps also?

Congrats on your new acquisitions.

Deshilus erm..Delishus

The real question is... are you related to Beavis and Butthead?
Your new game will let you see the top of the mountain, and it is good.
Congrats!

Hehehehehe huhuh huh m YES!
My main concern is what's up with the half assed censorship of the "bottom" of the mountain. I mean, if you're gonna make a "game" like this you might as well go all the way.

I got my copy of Hawaiian Island Girls for ~$130, but eBayers often try to gouge for even more. It's really not worth it at any price.

Because then it could have only been sold in porn shops, narrowing down the customer base even further.

Cool pick-ups, Desh. Necromancer is right that Hawiian Island Girls is not really worth any price... what a piece of trash (but an interesting oddity to let rot on a shelf)
Since you're willing to scan that Turbo Play for nullity, would you mind doing a high resolution scan of the Hawiian Island Girls insert for me too while you're at it? I have a loose Hawiian Island Girl and I've been longing to fill her up with a full-color insert.
Did you read through the mags yet? Anything especially entertaining?

Unfortuneatly, I can't scan the insert because it is in the mail on the way to it's new owner. Don't fret, it went to a member on here to help complete his collection in return for a couple Hu's I was after.
As far as the mags are concerned there's nothing crazy. They did do a small feature on Europe and Japan only releases and it's pretty cool to read the reviews on the new games when they came out. Also, they had a bunch of cool contests and give always back in the day. Don't know of any console or multiple game give always done by Sony or Microsoft these days. At least Nintendo has Club Nintendo and rewards you for buying their stuff.

I'll bring mine to work tomorrow and scan it for ya, cabby.
