This will probably be a little controversial since many of you think it would be defacing a Super CDROM2 by installing component jacks. I am still kicking around the idea of replacing the stock DIN on it. The only thing keeping me from that is the lack of component to DIN cables (at least I cant find one that has component and sound in the same cable). And I've never built a cable like that, so I'm afraid it will come out looking like hacked ass.
I can't seem to find any pics of a Super CDROM with component jacks. What do you think? Straight out the back (what i'm leaning towards). The power side or av side? Someplace I havent thought of yet?
If you have done this mod to your console let me know how it worked out. Even if you dont have a Super CDROM, I'm open to inputs.

I prefer to keep the stock look on my systems as much as possible. I have done component mods on the duo's using the din 8 and make my own din 8 to component rca's using these:

thanks, turbo. i may reconsider building a cable. first time for everything. there's not much cost involved, so i could screw up a few times.

As for another option you could always mount a DIN in the PC engine itself to avoid doing any modding to the CD drive.
