Turbo Grafx gun? Is it for real? I can't even think of a game that would use it.

I thought the same thing, I know of zero light gun games and have never seen the controller. At first I thought it was a Justifier painted black.
I'll raise you one other "what the hell:"
NEC Memory Base 128 PI-AD19 PC Engine Japan Turbo DUO TurboGrafx CD USA Seller

It's a back up save device that plugs into the controller port.

I watched this gun the first time it was posted and it went the distance with no bids. I almost picked it up as a curiosity, just because I want to see which system it actually belongs to. Looking at the plug, it almost looks like it could be TG16... but it isn't I'm sure.

Either an early PC or a Telstar Arcade Light gun. I thought it was a hacked Famicom Light gun, but they have a brown hilt.

The Telestar Arcade light gun was hardwired to the console so unless someone wired a generic plug to it then it shouldnt be that one although it does resemble it.
