Title: Lulzy capacitor seller is lulzy
Post by: ProfessorProfessorson on June 23, 2014, 10:00:00 AM
Posting a lulzy back and forth between myself and a ebay seller, allsysgo42, concerning Ltec caps that occurred today. The seller is known for showing Japanese caps in the auction pics but actually sending lower quality generics and crap to the customer. I figured I would check them out and see if there was any truth to it, and there was lol. Seller starts to become annoyed and accuses me of being a democrat, etc in a mini wild tangent. Anyway, read the stuff below from bottom to top. Thats the correct order to read them in.

"If I put 25 cents in your paypal account, any chance you would go away?"

That's pretty funny, but otherwise the guy sounds like a tool.  Even if he did think you were wrong, a good seller wouldn't argue and risk driving away a potential customer.

I like how he gives you a compliment for calling him out on being a scammy scammerson. :lol:

I thought the democrat part was pretty funny. I guess in some sort of ironic way he means that only Democrats like quality capacitors (I'm not a democrat or republican...). Btw, he upped his offer to 75 cents.

Lol with the politically oriented insult. Why does the US have a black and white political scene anyway? Even the USSR had a multiparty political setup at some point :P

Good to know that dick sells crappy capacitor instead of advertised ones, thanks Professor.

So anyway, update, the guy kept sending me more messages expressing his hate for Democrats, and people unemployed on welfare, along with some wild tangent about killing small birds. After I let him hang himself a bit, I confronted him with the fact that I knew he had a local pc shop in San Antonio, his name, and expressed interest in posting all of his comments on a nice few reviews for his business on Yelp and Google, etc.

He started back tracking and denying he had a shop, or anything to do with it. The computer shop in question is http://www.asg-sa.com/. The stores full address is listed there, and they link directly to their ebay account, so it's kind of impossible for him to claim they are not related in any way. His ebay auctions even use the store logo and contact info in the background of the pictures he takes for his items.

Pointed all this out to him and asked one last time if he wanted to add any further comments about people of different race, the LGBT community, etc since he was on a hate train roll. I'm not sure if I will squeeze any more replies out of him now. To be honest I was even getting bored up till the part where he went into denial about the shop in San Antonio and all. Anyway, we will see...

Holy sh!te, you are the goddamn master. Goddamn.

I knew this guy had no chance, but he literally had no chance. I love it.

Professor M., I am eager to see what happens next. Is this the sort of person who will just ignore you? Or will he be unable to stop himself from saying more...

At this point I think he has finally figured out it would be best to just stfu. The crap he was saying was really really bad for business, so I don't expect to hear anything else out of him.

Apparently Republicans don't have a problem using commerce as a weapon on their fellow Americans...  Is that the message?!?!

I like how the website has this on the front page, seems appropriate;

"Thought for the day

Until you walk a mile in another man’s shoes, you won’t know for sure if you got away with stealing them."
