I noticed that one of the bgm tracks in Camp California uses the main riff from one of the bgm tracks in Alien Crush.

This Camp California track sounds like it is an "original" bgm for the game and not a Beach Boys song. Does anybody recognize the riff from either Beach Boys or some hard rock or heavy metal band? I'm guessng that both were "inspired" by the same music, like so many 16-bit (and Icom Sim) bgms were.

Lunar Eclipse is a cover of Deep Purple's Burn:

Camp California just sounds like a typical heavy metal riff -- don't know if it's copying any song. The songs on CC that don't have the Beach Boys singing are original songs for the game -- most sound really good, IMO; they have a great "Southern California" '80s/90s sound.

I effing love the non-Beach Boys music in Camp California.

Awesome.

The Alien Crush track does sound very similar to the Deep Purple song, but it' doesn't sound close enough to be a cover, or even a straight rip off. Maybe the composer had the Deep Purple song in his head. If so, I can see the inspiration. But they are both JUST different enough that I'm willing to give the AC composer a pass.

is the "midi" sound in Alien Crush is because its a HuCard? So I'm guessing Camp California is a CD then, since I never even saw that game before. They are both cool riffs tho and the 1st one does sound a parody of "burn". I think the Cali tune is original and written for the game. Sounds glamish metal a bit.

I had no idea that Camp California had such sweet tunes.

Tis the best music to be affiliated with the Beach Boys since "The Little Old Lady From Pasadena!"
