I once grabbed Keith Courage on the bottom, and now I can't go within 100 feet of a school.

Ummm....

without ebay. ebay high prices. ebay making things fun. There would be no PCEngine community the way it is now. There would be no collectors base. Things wouldn't matter if everything was cheap and readily available. Community would be reduced to an irrelevant number of people that would be overshadowed by anyone playing anything else.

what is so interesting when everyone has all the games ever made for the system at $1 a game?

fail....your concept fails. Ebay rules!!!!!

Ebay rules!!!!!

If you love eBay so much why don't you just marry it?

Or go buy Sidearms. I hear you can get it for a steal at $150 on the bay.

Actually to some degree Tommy has a point.  Ebay can be held responsible for mass advertising so every video game selling storefront can raise prices and any stay at home lazy jobless hillbilies can make a gougers living.

But on the plus side, some of us who thought we would never see another TG16 found it still lived on Ebay 15 years ago for cheap.  I remember when all hucards were only 5.00 for a loosie.  I bought a handful while my Ex was in Texas A&M and it made a great console to travel there with.

Again I'll ask, did you just get into the PC Engine recently and just blurt out theories as facts? The Turbo/PCE community thrived before eBay and long before anyone could download and burn games and even roms weren't that easy to come by (and flash cards didn't exist).

I've never hated eBay and it's still a great place for deals if you know how to shop. Collectards and resellers are a problem everywhere.

Why would he buy his own game?
