Just a sneaky peaky for you guys...something I will be adding more of in the near future to my site: http://pcenginebible.roarvgm.com/HTML_Games/After_Burner_II.htm
-
Real nice, its a GREAT idea.
-
I really like that idea, however what would really please my fancy is if you had a link which let you download the video onto your hard drive so us people who prefer not to use online Flash players could use our own methods. ;)
-
I'm at the mercy of Youtube so that ain't gonna happen I'm afraid.
If there's any games you think I should do in the first batch vote now!
-
You know I've always wanted your site to display more pics. Adding that youtube stuff is equally good so go for it ^__^
-
I think it would be better to add more of the "popular" games first. (Dracula X, Sapphire, Bonk etc). Some of these games are the reason a lot of people first take a look at PC Engine. I think it would help get people interested in the Engine.

I want to add more screenshots as well. I was also thinking of making some of the 'single' small shots on each game's page a bit bigger, although that means a lot of time to do it.

I'd like more opinions on this. Do you want to see more popular games first (i.e. ones you already own) or more obscure?
-
You can always create a page on rare stuff but I'm not really too fussed although some sapphire, kaze kiri, strider and Renny Blasters videos would be greatly appreciated if you got them m(_ _)m
-
Kaze Kiri I can do, the others I don't have.
Dracula X vid is up now.

There's a slight problem in Firefox. The player is on top of some of the text, and there are weird white borders to the left and right of it.

I fixed the white borders and moved the videos down a bit. Can you confirm the positioning is OK in firefox please?
-
No problems. :)

Cool. Thanks for the quick reply.

awesome!

Oh my goodness...
I HAVE to get Afterburner 2 now! I knew the PCE could do Outrun extremely well, but since Afterburner 2 on Genesis sucked, I've never looked into the PCE edition, but it looks like marvelous arcadey goodness! I need to get that and a Turbo Express/PCE GT, and I will never need another portable game ever.

You've never played After Burner II for the PCE!?!? Gasp! :) It's one of my alltime favs. I even think the PCE version has better music than the arcade, and very VERY close in gameplay. I mean, the only real difference I can think of right now is the arcade version "feels" like it has bigger sprites. I can't confirm this, but aside from this difference they're amazingly similar. Closer by far than the Genesis version.

The PCE version of After Burner II is very nice indeed. I really love the music in it.
-
Yeah, I was surprised and delighted by the music in PCE After Burner 2. I had the MegaDrive version so I never bothered to get the PCE version until a long time later.
As a matter of fact, I opted for the MD ver of Outrun over the PCE ver. back in the day too. I should have known better. :)
