Title: Turbo Card scans. Resurrect the TG16 Collectors Book.
Post by: Ayce on July 26, 2014, 05:22:30 PM
I don't know if anyone here remembers me or not. I had started making a book on the TG16. (http://ayce78.files.wordpress.com/2010/09/finalcoversmall.png)

I knew that once I began school that I was going to have to drop the project to focus on my school work and that's exactly what happened. Well... since then I've finished school and I've also lost all my files on the book making me have to start all over from scratch.

I am so upset after taking all that time to gather all those scans and get the layout of the book all set up and ready to make things easier to handle.

Anyway if there is someone out there that still has the Turbo Cards/CD and Manual scans still I would greatly appreciate you contact me so I can begin work on this once again.

[edit]
Well I accidentally stumbled on this old image which will help me tremendously and I'll be able to expand and make it even better.

While away at school I even had the chance over one of the summers to begin the overhaul of my Card Fighters Project which has seen the light of day for some time now.

Just name what you need.  I have most of it and can scan any of it.

That sounds really cool. You should hit up this guy about scanning all things Magical (Chase).

Good news... I don't know if I found them all, but I know I found a bunch of raw scans that I held in my gmail account as back up. So I won't need a full set of scans, but I will have to go through and figure out what I still need. I'll get back to you guys on this.

Hope you can get this completed. Would be a good resource for all in TG-16.

Glad to hear you found backups! Btw, I noticed a little something you might want to fix:

"The controls and ball physics are so accurate that few pinball games over the last 22 years have not matched this level."

That was just an old mock up not part of the actual product.

What are some of the bits of information that you feel would be invaluable on each game.

Who composed the music, cheat codes, notes on the developers that worked on the games (including any translated interviews), other various trivia. Might be cool to see what ratings the games were given BITD.

Anyway, very cool project. Let me know when I can buy the hardback version! :D You should totally include a poster in it as well.

Thank you for reply. Rating is something that was taken into consideration as well as cheats... of course I'm just itching to share my method of hacking World Court Tennis RPG code system :P. Some of those other suggestions are rather interesting ideas too.
