Title: PC Engine Shuttle
Post by: pc_kwajalein on July 30, 2014, 06:24:39 AM
I have been obsessed with the Shuttle lately (again). I've owned a Core Grafx II for quite some time now, but originally it was my intention to get a Shuttle first. One never surfaced for me so I ended up with my CG2, but the desire still manifests itself. For you Shuttle owners, when did you get your Shuttle and how was the availability at the time?

I've seen Shuttles for sale on eBay for at least fifteen years straight.

I saw a loose one on eBay at a reasonable price, so I bought it

I never could find one CIB for a decent price when I looked for them. I was (and still am) big on consoles CIB. What would be a good price for one? I've seen the JPN seller prices, and the shipping is quite considerable.

I've always thought the Shuttles were an awesome looking little system. I hope you find one at a good price.

Forum member had 3 loose Shuttles few years ago that I picked one up from. It was loose loose, no pad, A/V or wall wart. Plus I was told it had a sold solder issues on the control port so it was discounted BUT it still had the card slot cover, and that is gold IMO. I managed to find a pad on ebay and procured power and A/V cables through other means. Controller port issue was simple enough to fix. Definitely a niche console, true obeyers need only apply.

I've owned the DAEWOO SHUTTLE since launch (I lived in North Korea at the time, though—very difficult to get PCE hardware at the time).
