Hey Wac I have one. PM me and we can discuss price. Be warned though, I can't go a penny under $25,000.

Not a prototype. Chop sells these. He also sells Coryoon on the same chip.

I've got two of these booty hueys (Magical Chase and Megaman); they're seemingly well made, sturdy and with a good heft. There's room for improvement, though, as I'd rather the eeprom was a bit further down the board so a hump could be installed (like SFII).

Or even smaller/thinner eeprom chips

Is Chop still selling these? I've been looking for Coryoon and Magical Chase for a while now.

That looks like my hand:)
-
why would anyone want official games on one of these when there are cool homebrew releases out there that will never get a physical release
-
I still have hope that tunes will be added to Tongueman's Logic and it gets released on cd or huey. Other than it or translated roms, what else is there?
-
reflectron, megaman, translated games
-
Surprise, wmac the weasel came out of his trashed sales thread after, what, 6-7 weeks trying now to contribute content elsewhere to temporarily act like he gives a shit about PCEFX other than using it as his personal eBay storefront. Your act doesn't fool me and some others I'm sure, you'll be gone for good eventually.
-
reflectron, megaman, translated games
Reflectron should be added as an unlockable/hidden game on some future CD title; thanks to Mr. Berns, I already have a Megaman chuey; and translated stuff can go on the flashcart.
-
quit lying to Wacadick, these were prototypes found in TZD old warehouse this past spring. We just held them back till we could make labels for them. there were 25 found!
-
Is it just me being too cynical and biased against this clown thinking that the other reason for this thread is he's thinking about, "Hmmmmm, I wonder about the flipping potential of these in the future!!!" and is phishing for history to help him decide if he should invest in these ?? Note: his other "contribution" outside of his trashed sales thread was to back up willis in whatever prices he wanted, moral support (a sort of, "Don't let these guys haggle you down, take them for all that they're worth that can be justified via eBay, etc.").
-
So what's the difference between these and the Arkhan cards? More specifically, why this wasn't used to make Atlantean cards?
-

I don't know about him calculating profit potential, but I've little doubt he's trolling just to get a response and knows exactly what these are. We've all seen prototypes from back in the day, and this sure as shit ain't one of 'em, not with a single/big eeprom, a painted PCB, and a nice label.
So what's the difference between these and the Arkhan cards?
Quite a bit. Ark's cards are more like "real" hueys, with a plastic shell, transferred label, and a much smaller eeprom.
More specifically, why this wasn't used to make Atlantean cards?
I suspect cost, timing, and because it looks less legitimate.
-

We had a design like that. Arkhan didn't like it (exposed eeprom, probable bump).
He wanted a 'real' card - same dimensions, same look.
-
Yeah I don't want no retarded exposed ROM. It doesn't feel as real if you can see the insides.
-
And it doesn't glow in the dark.

Yes. The real protype hu has different color. Yellowish color one! This is very obviously not a protype!. It even has picture taped up on the Hu Card!..

+1 Yes its your hand from FB! lol.
also..
Yes it should have covers like SF2 Hu.. Id love that developed on several JP cool games into english (translated). Id buy YSIV!
-
not a taped lable, Chop had professional labels made
-
I actually love the look of these cards (I had a few). I'm interested in a two or three chip design though. I've been wanting to make a 512kram SCD 3.0 card for a while now (great for homebrew, but awesome for CD translations).
-
I think they are awesome. Looks and feels solid. The EPROM are low profile enough, they may make ones with an even smaller profile I don't know.

No no, "protypes," you mean. ;)

I want Splatterhouse Chrome on one of these

I had to google that one. It looks pretty tough.

True, but it's the fun kind of aggravating :P
-
There is a hack of Splatterhouse? Learning something every day.
-
You got me at Splatterhouse. I MUST play this now. Oh, and the Magical Chop Hueys are awesome. VERY well made.
-
Damn, I need me some Mega Man ChUcard.
-
yeah I remember seeing something like that one the fb groups! looks really nice and a good alternative of playing magical chase without having to pay a ton. Would be like to have the hu card as the shape of sf2 with the bumb on the bottom! would be very nice
-
hahaha, prototype!!
-
Damn, I need me some Mega Man ChUcard.
I'm assuming it's the same one in the Everdrive Rom folder that's going around. Mega Man gameplay is very similar to the NES version. Music, however, is awful. Played the Castlevania version too and music is bad on it as well.
-
Similar? It's almost the exact same rom, only with necessary tweaks to make it run on PCE.
-
This makes me want an everdrive and to just be done with it.

Megaman music was aweful? The other roms, well... yeah, but MM1 (and MM2) sound very-very close to the NES originals. Maybe you've played an old version? Go to the "download & links" section in the site in my sig. You will always find the newest version there (the new version has a new title screen, and an option menu for easy mode and putting the game in stereo).
-
Oh yeah, thanks for reminding me. My Everdrive will arrive soon and getting to try some of your NES2PCE ROMs like Megaman on my Turbo Express will be interesting.

Sorry. Didn't know someone on the forum made it. I think it's awesome that you were even able to get it on TG. It was the first game I played when I got my Everdrive. I'll check to see what version I have. And again, my apologies. Don't want to insult your work.

I'm not insulted, just confused. The NES emulation part isn't 100%, but for what MM1 and MM2 use - it should be near the high 98% range (IMO).
