Well, judging from the description I would think he's legit, he even accurately identifies which games are good and which suck. He's got good feedback, and if you pay with Paypal that gives you some protection just in case something happens.

I wouldn't pay the $400 BIN price, but if it stays at the $250 price it sounds good to me.

I would try bidding on it instead of buying it now, unless you don't mind paying $400.

400 is steep, 250.00 -325.00 is reasonable considering it has the original box and a lot of games.

I got a duo recently on ebay for $186. (That includes shipping.) It included the 3-in1 CD and 3 decent chip games. If you pay $400, then it's like you're paying over $200 for 5 chip games and Ys and Dragon Slayer.

Unfortunately, the Duo's are going like hotcakes online right now so I thing the ending price will be near $400. Overpriced? Yes. However, the demand is there. I lost a lot of auctions before I got mine and I ended up spending my maximum that I budgeted.

That price is decent actually.

I price that stuff roughly like this:
$10   Blazing Lazers
$8     Sinistron
$0     Keith Courage In Alphazone
$15   Neutopia
$30   Neutopia II
$10   Ninja Spirit
$25   Parasol Stars
$5     Dungeon Explorer
$10    Bonk’s Adventure
$35    Dragon Slayer
$20    Ys Book I & II
$15    Gate of Thunder, Bonk I & II

a minty boxed Duo = $250

that's $433 there

So I think it's a nice deal.  I would though like to hear a word about the sound and play on the Duo though....

It's a good deal because paying postage separately for 10+ games adds up quickly.

BUT, seriously, the sound issue is the most important thing. Whenever folks ask about U.S. or JP DUO's, we should make a generic disclaimer about the potential problem (and the ways to remedy it).

ASIDE: Hey D-Lite, the Super CD-ROM2 + PCE combo you sold me is working great. No, they aren't as pretty as I'd want them to be, but they function perfectly. Thanks.
