Title: Wii Games thread
Post by: lukester on October 24, 2014, 02:05:31 PM
The Wii isn't that bad...It has a lot of awesome games. Talk about what you've been playing recently, want to buy, or think is awesome.

Recently beat Mad World. Definitely a really fun and stylish game, though I think Red Steel 2 is better overall.

Started playing Okami, but can't get into it. Controls are bad and the linearity and cutscenes are killing me.

Ordered Goldeneye 007 and Samurai Warriors 3.

I would like to get Samurai Shodown Anthology, Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles and Sengoku Basara.

Ope has good taste.

Fragile Dreams is also really good, Castle Shikigami 3 has the lovely Reika in it.

Maybe this thread will get me to dust off my Wii. (Probably not though)

I've always wanted to try Mad World, I like the art style.

Cursed Mountain is also another good one, especially for this time of year!  I've got a pretty solid number of Wii titles personally, there are a lot of under-the-radar gems on the system I don't think got a lot of press coverage.

Haha, this too. I must have easily spent hundreds on the Virtual Console as a kid.

My wife wanted it. She played it exactly 1 time.

My sister and wife did the same thing.

I did tell my sister that if she ever desides to get rid of her Wii games to give them all to me.

I doubt that haplaning any time soon as she still plays them on her WiiU

DQ Swords is pretty easy its like the TV sword game that came out only in japan. It would have been cool to see them do a sequel that builds on this adventure but its pretty much an RPG on rails.
