With the Bomberman 3DS game cancelled a while back, we haven’t seen a proper game from the series in a while, but fans of the series will have a little something to look forward to for the time being, as an official Bomberman game released for smartphone.

Well, at least the memories of Hudson live on. Looks like it's only multiplayer too.

Ewwww, they got the Turbografx box-art Bomberman. That's like when Capcom put "Mega Man" in Street Fighter X Tekken.

I'm not surprised.  Konami didn't buy 'em just to bury everything, and I'm not surprised they're going after the low hanging fruit of cellphone games.

I will get this. Hope it has a solo quest (despite what someone said already, I hope it isn't multi-player only).

I would prefer a solo quest also.  I hope it's good, because it's not easy to find mobile games that are even moderately enjoyable, in my opinion.

I downloaded some lame Bomberman-themed puzzle game a few months ago for iPad (I see no reason why Konami wouldn't support iPhone and iPad).
