Hey, folks. I've been doing a little coding since February on a (fun?) little game that I call HuZERO.

Press the I button to accelerate, try to survive for 2 minutes, and try to get a high score.
My top score playing drunk is 65797 points... ;-)

Happy playing! If you get a high score and maybe post a screenshot, I might put you on the leaderboard...

(This message is also in the homebrew section; don't know which thread to make the main one...)

Yes, tested on my Everdrive & PC-Engine here.

Downloading now for weekend fapping! In the mean time, you got any screenshots or videos to share?

O_O
must. download. must. obey.

Holy SHIT! That looks phenomenal!
-
Nice! I'll be downloading this when I get home! (After I pick up Smash, of course. ;)).
-
One more reason to have an Everdrive. This looks awesome! Thanks CC! Thanks for the vid null.
-
Wow, thanks for this! Will d/l to Everdrive tonight. So awesome :!:
-
...and the term "bounce of death" has been born. :)
This is seriously amazing, Chris. Outstanding work.
-
Nice work, looks awesome! Can't wait to check it out.
-
Awesome, I'll be trying this out!
-
Anxious to try this!!!
-
Very impressive!. Music sounds really good too. Great job!
-
Arrreerdggggfhhhhhhhjjjjj.

Just loaded it up on the Everdrive. Pretty incredible little game!!
-
This is incredible. Do you plan on sharing the source code?
-
It has potential and just needs some tweaking. The controls are very difficult even when you slow down at the curves your car seems to continue to drift towards the wall really badly. It would be nice to see this "Caravan" version turn into a full fledged playable clone.
-
If you find a way to add right angle turns or loop backs you're a wizard.
-
This is some nice scanline trickery, really gives a good illusion of "mode 7". I am ashamed that I once asked if the turbo could do Top Gear (SNES). Congratulations Chris, this is amazing.
-
I would think that Top Gear would be fairly simple for the Turbo to do. I mean Victory Run isn't that far behind in the visuals department (except those horribly drawn hills and choppy cars / roadside objects).
-
Looks like I have to cancel my plans this evening ;-) Game on!
-
I need an ever drive.

@ccovell: Looks impressive! I noted that when the shot zooms out, the track can be seen as visibly curved. However, when your actually playing the game at a 45 degree angle, the track looks more straight with only perhaps the bottom portion slightly bending. I assume this was done for a reason? It reminds me of those games where to simulate turns they make the sides of the road move left and right, but in parallel rather than drawing them actually curved.
