I saw from the other thread that The Dynastic Hero, Space Fantasy Zone, and Rock Man had boots made. Are these cheap or expensive? Well done like Sapphire or less so? If cheap, where do I find them these days?
-
SFZ and Roku Man are maybe sold out. Also, they were stamped CD-Rs. So that's a thing. :(
Dynastic Hero is only available as part of a four game set for now. It will most likely be available individually later on in 2015.

If they aren't pressed what's the point?

I won't argue that they're worth it, but you still get professionally printed manuals and inserts and a nice thermal print label on the cd.

Yeah, I actually made copies of those two burned games with Mitsui gold discs. I trust those more than whatever CD-Rs came in the cases. They look really good, though, very nice packaging. Also, I asked Mister German if they may ever re-release them on pressed silver discs and he said that they were thinking it over, but no immediate plans for now.

So they're not pressed then, right? That sucks, as it seems my Duo doesn't like burns very much.

Just Megaman and Space Fantasy Zone are CDRs; Sapphire and the current box set releases are all pressed discs.

Not sure if I am late to the party here, but these CD's do appear to be pressed, unless I'm just some clueless noob. Here, I'll snap a photo.

Sapphire is pressed, yes. The only ones from the German that were CD-Rs are-are-are Rrrocaine + Space Fantasia Zonin' Bone Ordinance.

HailingTheFish, you're right. The other two just have a paint coat to them. Kinda ghetto but Sapphire and the stuff that's in the PC Engine Memories are all pressed. Pressed so hard you'll fart.
